Ingredients

For 6 servings

  • 475g puff pastry sheet (ready-rolled)
  • Garlic Butter Topping:
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2–3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1–2 tsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F. Line a loaf tin or baking tray.

  2. 2

    Unroll the puff pastry sheet.

  3. 3

Using a pizza cutter, cut the pastry into 8 long strips.

  4. 4

Lay the strips side by side, slightly overlapping (do not stack).

  5. 5

Gently press the strips together, then roll them into a coil/loaf shape.

  6. 6

Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden and fully cooked.

  7. 7

    Cool slightly before adding toppings.

  8. 8

Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and olive oil until smooth.

  9. 9

Spread the garlic butter over the warm croissant bread so it melts slightly.

  10. 10

    Serve immediately and enjoy!
